Okanagan Aikikai Seminar – Ohtsu Makoto Sensei – July 31, 2017

Greetings All,

I am very honoured that Ohtsu Makoto Sensei 大津誠先生, 7th dan; will be teaching  a seminar
class at the Okanagan Aikikai dojo in Kelowna on July 31st from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.

Ohtsu Sensei was the founder of Saskatoon Aikikai in 1978 and my original Aikido Sensei
from the 1980s.  He is now the DojoCho of Showa dojo in Nagoya, Japan.

Ohtsu Sensei will freely share his extensive aikido knowledge here in Kelowna on July 31st and then
in Saskatoon on August 1st and 2nd. Both Don Ragush Sensei in Saskatoon and I have been charged by
Ohtsu Sensei to NOT provide any renumeration to him.  Therefore, there is no charge to attend.

Ohtsu Sensei is a true and honorable Martial Artist 武士 and his wisdom is only matched by his generosity.
He is a retired Professor so is also considered an academic 文士。The only expression to descirbe him would
be “文武雙全“ which means that he is the ultimate renaissance man.

We look forward to seeing you to come and learn from Ohtsu Sensei here in Kelowna and in Saskatoon.

Yours in Aiki,

Pat Olson
